We believe Architecture is a service business.   We deliver on this belief by custom-tailoring our methodologies and processes to suit the client’s unique needs at hand.  We take pride in our ability to think like an owner.

It is John van Hemert’s breadth and depth of experience that allows for this flexibility and agility.  He possesses significant experience across most asset classes and budgets and is comfortable in contemporary procurement methods – from fixed price, to design-build, to construction management.

John is in this business because he loves to design and is passionate about the positive impacts that good design can make. John a senior architect but is completely hands-on and accountable throughout the entire process - from design to completion.

John is a generalist who has leveraged his 13 years of large-firm experience to bear on our boutique Calgary firm of 3, established in 2013.  To maintain our service commitment, we thoroughly evaluate our resourcing prior to the acceptance of new assignments, and do not engage in work beyond our capacity.
